Our approach
We are often asked who we compete against and there is no easy answer. What we’ve created is unique. We are not a traditional management consultancy, not an agency, and not a research company. But at times, we do aspects of all three. We are at our best when we bring the deep insights of customer research together with the strategic analysis of management consulting and the creative solutions of an agency to reinvent the traditional customer value proposition to create and preserve profit growth. In practice, there are six ways we  stand out:

Focus :: We focus on marketing strategy and innovation. Period. Very few firms have our depth of expertise and focus in these areas. We are among the best in class in marketing strategy and innovation.

Value :: We firmly believe that we are not only the best in class but also the best value in the market. We are not premium for premium’s sake. We are not the least expensive either - we don't strive to be. But we will provide both unmatched and unquestionable value for your investment.

Relationships :: We take the long view. We invest in our clients’ success at both the company and individual level. We have established deep relationships with some of the world’s largest and most admired companies. The proof? Our repeat business rate is over 90% (and the other 10% are new clients who haven’t yet had the opportunity to ask us back yet).

Collaboration :: We like to collaborate. With the client. With existing agencies. With subject matter experts. We collaborate to because we know that our clients must ”own” the outcomes of our projects or they don’t get executed.  So its not collaboration because its “feels or sounds good”.  It has a business purpose that serves our clients well.

Scope :: Our senior resources are staffed on every project. Our Principals do not sell and disappear. All of our engagements include a significant allocation of Principal time and energy. Also, we don’t scope engagements to maximize the number of projects per year like other consultancies. We prefer to allow enough time for proper analysis, reflection and socialization of ideas and solutions. This also ensures that the team is working hard but not so hard that it misses the forest for the trees.
